Shanklin Tech Company In Line For prestigious British Engineering Award

Island based firm Innovative Physics has been shortlisted in the category ‘High Impact Innovator of the Year’ in the prestigious British Engineering Excellence Awards (BEEAs).

The high-tech firm, based in Shanklin, has developed a global reputation for its research and development in evolving technologies across Asia, Europe, Canada, and the US.

The BEEAs, which take place on Friday March 18, have been the benchmark of engineering excellence for more than a decade and aim to reward the UK’s best design engineers.

Innovative Physics has delivered wide ranging, cutting-edge products, and systems to help aid nuclear decontamination, identify security risks at airports and develop techniques to speed up the process of detecting cancer.

Mike Anderson, chief executive officer for Innovative Physics said:

“As a small company we very proud of the successful track record and market we have developed, despite strong competition from much larger companies.

"Key to this has been our ability to offer our clients bespoke solutions to complex scientific and engineering obstacles and to work closely with our overseas clients to deliver comprehensive ongoing technical support and advice.”

The awards entries will be judged by a seven-strong panel of electronic and engineer design experts and winners revealed during a ceremony at the Landmark Hotel in central London on Friday 18th March 2022.
