A driver has been arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of drugs in Calbourne.
Police said in the early hours of this morning (Monday), they came across a silver BMW 3-series just off Calbourne Road - with the driver trying to push it out of the ditch.
Posting on Facebook, police said the driver passed the breath test.
But after an eight-minute wait and a positive result on his drug wipe for cannabis and cocaine.
The driver was arrested and taken to Newport Police Station.
