Tapnell Farm has been forced to delay the launch of its brand new Aqua Park.
It was due to open to the public yesterday (Monday), but 'last minute, unforeseen challenges' have put plans on hold.
Tapnell Farm said:
"After much anticipation and excitement, we are really disappointed to announce that we having to push back the opening and are unable to open the Aqua Park today as planned.
"Over the weekend, we faced some last minute, unforeseen, challenges which we need to sort out before we can open to the public. This may take a few days to put right, but rest assured we will open as soon as we can!
"All customers who booked sessions this week and who have been affected, have been contacted by us directly. Big thanks for you all being SO understanding!
"We are truly sorry about this delay, however excited and disappointed you are - we are feeling it double whammy! But it's something we are working on round the clock to fix, and we WILL launch very soon with a big splash! 🌊 🤙"
The plans for the new park were launched last year.
Once opened, it will be the Island's first ever outdoor, floating, inflatable Aqua Park.
In the centre of a lake there will be a large floating, inflatable course with different types of obstacles attached; such as slides.
