A 17-year-old girl has been arrested after police were called to separate incidents of criminal damage in Sandown yesterday (Wednesday).
The initial call saw officers attend a residential address on Grafton Lane at 1.40am after a door was damaged.
Police returned to the address at 5.28pm when a window was smashed.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said:
"We were called at 1.40am on October 26 to reports of a door being damaged at an address in Grafton Lane, Sandown.
"It was reported that further damage was caused to the door later that morning, and police received further reports at 5.28pm of a window being smashed.
"A 17-year-old girl has been arrested on suspicion of burglary, criminal damage, using violence to secure entry, and assaulting an emergency worker."
The girl remains in custody at this time.
