Bembridge RNLI and Freshwater Independent Lifeboat are hosting family days today (Saturday).
At the Bembridge RNLI Lifeboat station, Islanders can ask crew members questions and hear how they operate and respond to an emergency.
You can come along from 11am until 4.30pm at Lane End for free - with all the money raised during the day going towards helping save lives at sea.
The RNLI shop will be open and there will be tea, coffee and homemade cakes.
Boat users can also have their lifejacket assessed for its seaworthiness.
Elsewhere, Freshwater Independent Lifeboat runs its first day since the pandemic started from midday until late.
Organisers say there will be live entertainment, a barbecue and face painting, Woodfire Pizza and Stripped Ventnor.
A kids pirate costume competition will be judged at 4pm.
