Emergency services were called to a road traffic accident in Wroxall which left three people in the care of paramedics last night (Saturday, Feb 18).
Shanklin, Ventnor and Newport fire crews were alerted to a road traffic collision on St Johns Road shortly after 8pm after a vehicle had left the road and gone through a hedge.
Firefighters were called shortly before 8pm, with paramedics already on the scene treating two casualties.
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service stabilised the vehicle and made the scene safe before the incident was left with police officers.
A spokesperson for the Ambulance Service confirmed three people were conveyed to St Mary’s Hospital Following the incident.
