Tickets Available For Isle Of Wight TEDx Event

Tickets are now on sale for the Isle of Wight's exclusive TEDx event - TEDxLukelyBrook - which is happening next month (March).

The global event will showcase top speakers at The Anthony Minghella Theatre, Quay Arts, Newport on March 2.

TEDxLukelyBrook brings people together to be inspired by sharing ideas worth spreading from the Isle of Wight to the world.

Tickets include a full day of live TEDtalks in the theatre, access to the Conversation Area to discuss talks with others attending, meet the speakers plus complimentary refreshments throughout the day including light lunch, official merchandise and more.

Demand for tickets is expected to be high.

The carefully selected line-up of speakers are all leaders in their field, forward thinkers interpreting the event theme of ‘If not now, when?’ from their unique point of view and personal experiences.

Improving lives, and enlighten us with a deeper understanding of how people think, feel and act. The event connecting the island to a global audience, like never before.

Dale Howarth, Organiser and Curator of the event, said:

Speakers taking to the round red carpet include author and Emmy-winning former CNN correspondent, Gina London, co-founder at Teemill, Mart Drake-Knight , global leader in website accessibility, Clive Loseby, global business leader, James Green and Kim Davis who has worked with A-list celebrities, including Beyoncé and Marc Jacobs.

Talks include: ‘If you kill time you murder success’, ‘How the Arts can help you achieve anything’, Be on a 10’, ‘The Future of Energy’ and ‘A move from the Urban Jungle’. Full details on the speakers and their talks can be found on the website.

The event will also to be live-streamed to a global audience with recordings added to the TEDx YouTube channel, which has more than 32 million subscribers.

Alongside the main theatre event, a Watch Party focusing on youth will be held simultaneously in the Trafalgar Room at the Riverside Centre. Due to demand from across the Island's schools and colleges, attendance at the Watch Party has been increase to 200 across the day.

TEDxLukelyBrook is an independently produced, not for profit event, operated under a licence from TED.
