Two men have been arrested after a third man was shot in the eye with a BB gun late last night (Tuesday).
A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said:
"We were called at 11.34pm last night (26 September) with reports of an assault at an address in Union Road, Ryde, during which a man was shot in the eye with a BB gun.
"He was taken to hospital but has since been discharged.
"A 29-year-old man and a 46-year-old man have both been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
"They remain in custody at this time."
