Two people have been arrested in Ryde after three men were seen fighting with weapons.
Police were called to reports of three men fighting with weapons in Union Road at around 4.35pm yesterday afternoon (Wednesday).
Police attended the scene and searched a nearby address on Union Road.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said:
"A 36-year-old man from Ryde was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and affray. While a 37-year-old man, also from Ryde, was arrested on suspicion of affray.
"A man received minor injuries as a result of the incident.
"Both men remain in custody at this time."
