Two people have been taken to hospital following a crash near the Racecourse Roundabout.
Police and the ambulance service were called to the scene on Whippingham Road, shortly before 5pm this evening.
The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident - understood to be a head-on collision.
Police have confirmed two people have been taken to St Mary’s Hospital.
The road has reopened.
