Two women have sustained 'minor injuries' say police, after an alleged assault in Ventnor.
Hampshire Constabulary says it was called at 6.17am on Sunday (23), to an assault in Newport Road.
The incident involved a group of men and women known to each other, according to the force.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances.
No arrests have been made at this time.
