A man has been arrested following the death of a vulnerable woman in Ventnor.
Police were called at 10.21am yesterday (Monday) to Chestnut Close following the sudden death of the 57 year-old woman.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the death.
As part of enquiries, a 47 year-old man from Ventnor has been arrested on suspicion of causing or allowing the death of a vulnerable adult.
He remains in custody at this time.
