A fire at a restaurant on Ventnor Esplanade last night (Saturday, Sept 3) saw crews from Ryde, Newport, Cowes, Shanklin and Sandown attending the scene.
Crews arrived at the Smoking Lobster restaurant just after 8pm following reports of smoke coming from the premises.
The Esplanade was closed off to traffic while crews dealt with the incident, with the fire extinguished just after 9pm.
Nobody was hurt.
