Vois Of Summer: New E-Scooters And E-Bikes Arrive On Isle Of Wight

A new range of e-scooters and e-bikes have arrived on the Isle of Wight this week.

Riders will have 24/7 access to the electric vehicles on the Isle of Wight.

Voi is replacing Beryl (below), with the latter's contract coming to an end after almost four years.

Is there an age limit?

Anyone over the age of 16 can ride with Voi on the Isle of Wight.

You will need a provisional or full driving licence in order to sign up to ride e-scooters, but you don’t need one for e-bikes.

How do I sign up to Voi?

Users are asked to download the app and follow the instructions.

To use e-scooters, you’ll be asked to upload a photo of your driving licence and then to take a selfie to verify that you’re the person in the picture.

A spokesperson for the company said:

"You don’t need a driving licence to ride the e-bikes so you can skip the upload driving licence if you’re just going to ridie an e- bike.

"You’re not allowed to share your account with anyone - and most definitely not your children or any underage person."
