Volunteers and friends of Sandown Airport have been learning new skills - including how to tackle a potential fire.
The group were given expert CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) training and advice on how to deal with different incidents, including fires involving fuel.
A Land Rover Defender fire tender has also been restored and upgraded to ensure it's ready for action - if needed.
It means, trained volunteers will be able to act fast before emergency services arrive on scene.

Airport owner, Danial Subhani, told Isle of Wight Radio:
"With everything currently restricted because of lockdown, we thought it would be a good chance to improve and enhance some of our skills at the airport.
"We decided to invest in the in-house services to support the Island’s emergency services should a situation ever occur.
"We already have around 12 First Aid personnel and we will be doing a course for any of the new trained firefighters who don't have it yet.
More practice drills are planned in the coming weeks.
