Residents in parts of Ventnor are without water supplies due to problems with the network this evening (Saturday).
As previously reported by Isle of Wight Radio, Southern Water warned earlier this week that addresses across the south of the Island could be hit by low pressure - or complete loss of supply - due to the strain placed on the system by the exceedingly heavy rainfall.
Multiple tankers were brought to the Isle of Wight to help the network cope with demand, however, it is now reported that some properties in the Ventnor area have been hit with disruption due to the heavy downpours.
The company is understood to be working to restore supplies, with bottled water distributed through the day, and a collection point put in place at Central Car Park.
It isn't yet known when supplies will be restored.
