Wetherspoons To Reopen On The Isle Of Wight - Here's What You'll Need To Do If You Visit

Pub chain Wetherspoons has released guidance for customers heading to its establishments ahead of their reopening on Saturday (July 4).

After many months of waiting, the Isle of Wight's Wetherspoons in Newport and Ryde will be reopening on Saturday after Government restrictions were lifted.

If you plan on heading to your local Wetherspoons, there's a number of new measures you will need to be aware of and adhere to for a hassle-free - and safe - visit.

You might have to queue to get in...

As pubs are now only allowed a certain number of people inside to allow for social distancing, you may have to queue outside before entering.

The pub chain expects it to be especially busy on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Choose your companions wisely!

Due to social distancing measures still being in place, you'll only be able to head out with up to six people.

Hand sanitiser will be available...

The pub chain will be asking customers to wash their hands before heading in its venues and hand sanitising stations will be set up to allow regular hand cleaning.

Contactless ordering is preferred...

Regular Wetherspoons visitors will no doubt already be well acquainted with its mobile phone app that allows customers to order and pay for food and drinks from their table.

Whilst you'll still be able to order from the bar, you're asked to use the app where possible.

If you do order from the bar, expect limited tills and to be asked to return to your seat, where your order will be brought to you.
