Wightlink Reveals New Timetable For 2025 - With A Chance To Book At This Year's Prices

Cross-Solent operator, Wightlink, has revealed its new 2025 timetable which is now available for booking.

Customers can book travel in 2025 at 2024 prices until the offer ends on Thursday 31 October.

Next year, the ferry company will operate just over 39,000 crossings on its three routes linking the Isle of Wight with Portsmouth and Lymington, in line with total numbers of sailings in 2024.

On the Fishbourne to Portsmouth route, there will be an additional round-trip sailing on vehicle ferries on Wednesdays (from Wednesday 2 April to Wednesday 26 November 2025). The FastCat foot passenger service will continue to operate 36 crossings a day, on average, between Ryde Pier Head and Portsmouth Harbour.

Following feedback from customers, more daytime sailings have been added on the Yarmouth to Lymington route on the busiest days of the year. By extending Wightlink’s trial three-boat service in summer 2024, there will be more spaces onboard for Islanders who travel using their discounted Multilink Pass tickets, as well as increased capacity overall.

Commercial Director Phil Delaney says:

“We are committed to running the fullest-possible timetable year-round for Isle of Wight residents and tourists from the mainland. We are always looking at how to schedule our ferries to meet the demand from our customers and focus our resources where they are most needed.”
