Wind speeds of more than 110mph have been recorded at the Needles as Storm Claudio batters the Isle of Wight.
A Met Office weather warning for strong gales had been in force for the Island from last night (Monday) through to this morning (Tuesday).
It has now ended, but the effects of the storm, named Claudio, are still being felt.
At the Needles, the coast watch team recorded wind speeds of 96 knots (110.75 mph).

A number of trees have fallen down as a result, leading to disruption on the Island's roads. A list can be found here.
Island Roads received one report of a full size trampoline blowing about in the highway at Pixley Hill.
Overall, the team responded to more than 100 calls.
