WINNERS REVEALED: Isle of Wight Radio Best In Business Awards

Some of the Island’s leading companies, attractions and eateries have been recognised at the Isle of Wight Radio Best in Business Awards.

More than 200 people packed into Shanklin’s Lower Hyde for a celebratory evening on Friday (10), sponsored by Red Squirrel Property Shop.

Hosted by Isle of Wight Radio’s Paul Topping and Heather McCallum, the first award of the night - Apprentice of the Year sponsored by HTP College - went to Brandon Ross.

The Green/Eco award sponsored by Snows, quickly followed, and was won by Her Whey.

Next up was the Employee of the Year award sponsored by Pertemps, which deservedly went to Lauren Dove from Snacks and Ladders cafe.

The hotly contested Family Business of the Year Award sponsored by the Isle of Wight College, was won by All About Catering.

The Tourist Attraction of the Year sponsored by Visit Isle of Wight followed, won by Tapnell Farm.

The Independent Retailer Award was next, sponsored by D&S Carpets, which went to Hellerslea Fabrics.

The New Business Award sponsored by Hillbans, was then presented to winners, Right at Home.

The Tradesperson of the Year Award sponsored by Sydenhams, was picked up by Pinnacle Construction.

Top Event of the Year sponsored by Coast and Country Marquees, was handed to Chale Show.

The Social Media Award sponsored by Cherry Godfrey, was won by the Wildheart Trust Animal Sanctuary.

The CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Award sponsored by Glanvilles Damant, was awarded to WRS Systems.

The Local Produce Award sponsored by Adgestone Vineyard’s Arson Fire, was collected by the Isle of Wight Tomato Stall.

Pub of the Year sponsored by WRS Systems, was handed to The Blacksmiths.

The Customer Service Award sponsored by Deltron Lifts Coastal, was collected by Better Days Cafe.

The Best Breakfast Award sponsored by Wight Fire Security, was won by Bluebells at Briddlesford Farm.

The Best Hairdresser or Salon Award sponsored by The Beacon magazine, was scooped by Beau Belles.

The final award of the night - Overall Best in Business Award presented by headline sponsored, Red Squirrel Property Shop - was won by Orchard Brothers.
