A woman has been arrested after a man was assaulted in Sandown in the early hours of this morning (Monday).
Police were called at 1.28am to reports that a man in his 50s had been assaulted in Fort Street.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said:
"A 36-year-old woman from Sandown has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
"She remains in custody at this time."
