A woman who was arrested following a crash where a scooterist was killed on the Isle of Wight, has been released from police custody.
As previously reported, emergency services were called to Newport Road - near to the entrance with Sandown Airport - just before 9.40pm on Thursday (25) to reports of a road traffic collision between a scooter and a car.
The rider of the scooter was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 36 year old woman from Ventnor was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Police have confirmed she has now been released, under investigation.
