A two-time world rally champion will be the star name at the upcoming Island Car Centre Sandown Sprint.
Miki Biasion will visit the Isle of Wight for the event which takes place on April 2 and 3.
Biasion will be driving one of 100 race cars entered to compete in the first event of its kind on closed public roads for more than 60 years.
Miki’s entry has been made possible by Chichester-based Rally Replay which will be supplying a Group A Lancia Delta Integrale 16V which was restored in collaboration with Biasion to be an exact replica of his 1989 Sanremo winning car.
Event promoter, Tim Addison, said:
“Welcoming Miki Biasion to the Sprint is a real treat. We are very grateful to Rally Replay for making this happen — it will be quite a thrill for the competitors to have a rally legend on the same track.
"Classic cars represented include MG, Jaguar, Morgan and Austin Healey, which will be mixing it with more contemporary models from Lotus, Porsche and Alfa Romeo.
"Rally enthusiasts will be delighted that Miki’s Lancia will be competing with cars from Subaru, Mitsubishi, Audi and Ford.”
A limited number of tickets are available to purchase online for Saturday and Sunday.
