Wroxall Primary is the latest school to have a confirmed case of coronavirus.
Parents were notified on November 10, but they have been assured 'no further steps need to be taken' within the school.
Headteacher Lynn Torrance said there had been a case within the parental community.
The person and their family have been self-isolating since symptoms were first displayed last week.

Mrs Torrance said:
"I am contacting parents to inform you that a member of the school community has tested positive for COVID-19. I want to offer reassurance that the person concerned has followed guidance fully and engaged with the test and trace system. The whole family has been self-isolating since symptoms were first displayed last week and no contact has been made with other members of the school community since this time.
"Advice has been taken, the school’s risk assessments followed and at this point no further steps need to be taken within school at this stage. I will, of course, update you should any further action become necessary."
Isle of Wight Radio has asked the Isle of Wight Council for a comment.
