A group of young Island footballers have completed a whirlwind tour of every Premier League ground in less than 24 hours - raising almost £2,700 so far for a local charity.
Jack Egerton-Read (13), Oliver Linington (14), Frankie Foster (14), Oliver Flood (14), Reuben Flood (10) and Sonny Foster (7) visited and had a picture taken at all 20 top-flight football grounds, well inside their target time.
They took on the 1,200-mile challenge in aid of Newport's Mountbatten.
The time lapse video below gives a snapshot of the amazing efforts from the group...
They stuck to a strict time schedule to ensure they completed the challenge within 24 hours — a feat only recorded once before — and as such smashed their expected time, completing the challenge in just 20 hours and 15 minutes.
The youngsters began their challenge at Newcastle United's St James' Park — home to superstars such as Brazilian pair Joelinton and £200m rated Bruno Guimaraes (below) — at 10am on Saturday March 25.
They were accompanied by three fathers — Arsenal fan Darren Flood, Liverpool supporter Alan Foster and Chelsea aficionado Craig Egerton-Read.
Working their way down from the north of the country, the group completed their missing when they visited the Vitality Stadium in Bournemouth on Sunday.
The group was able to secure support from various local businesses to help with vehicle hire (Premier Ford Rentals), fuel sponsorship and even t-shirt printing (Vectis Scaffolding and WH Brading).
Charlotte Hornblow, Campaigns and Community Fundraiser at Mountbatten, told us:
“It has been so exciting to see this fundraiser develop from an idea into reality.
"To watch the next generation of fundraisers take on such a big challenge is inspirational, and we at Mountbatten are very proud of them.
"To have raised this amount will enable Mountbatten to support people from our community, who are faced with death, dying or bereavement.”
