Isle of Wight Scouts are inviting everyone to join them on Saturday May 11 between 9.30am and 3.30pm for the Corf Scout Campsite Open Day.
Parking is a £5 donation per car with funds raised helping to send young people to the Essex International Jamboree in August 2024.
Entrance to Corf Campsite and all activities are free.
Corf Scout Campsite Committee Chair, Paul Savill, said:
“There will be lots of activities and the opportunity to try something new.
"Archery, tomahawks, shooting, kayaking, frisbee golf, cooking on an open fire — There’s something for all ages.
"Bring the whole family along and have a great day out."
Other activities include crafts, iSpy trail, visits to the bird hide, bouldering on the new wall, try a musical instrument and learn about the heritage of Isle of Wight Scouting and how it relates to Scouting in 2024.
Corf Scout Campsite is located on Corf Road, Shalfleet.
Scouting is the largest voluntary sector provider of activities for young people on the Isle of Wight but without the support of adult volunteers none of this would be possible.
We have uniformed and non-uniformed volunteer roles in Scout Groups and Units across the Island and welcome enquiries online or via the Facebook page @IsleofWightScouts.
