The search for a final missing raccoon continues this week, with Amazon World now having located three of the four who escaped from its park last week.
Four 18-month-old female raccoons escaped from their enclosure, near Sandown, on Friday (November 1).
The first was captured within the zoo's grounds shortly before midnight on the same day.
Her sister was found by staff at the top of the zoo's parrot perches the following evening.
Amazon World subsequently confirmed that a third raccoon was found.
A social media post today (Tuesday November 4) states:
"With Raccoon number four still on the loose, we are asking for more help from our supportive community.
"Does anyone on the Island have any large fox traps like the one in the picture (below) that we can locate around the zoo site?
"If you do please call us or message on 867122. We can collect.
"We thank you for your continued support at this difficult time."
