Cowes Amateur Dramatic and Operatic Society (CAODS) has announced the restart of its Youth Theatre today (Sunday).
Trinity Youth Theatre is open to anyone aged 8-16 who would like to learn more about all aspects of the arts.
Running weekly on Sundays between 1.30pm and 3.30pm, the theatre will be free, but membership to CAODS will be required, this costs £8 for the
year for under 16s.
In March there will be a small production of ‘Robin Hood’ in the Theatre Clubroom for families and society members to watch.
In May the children from Trinity Youth Theatre will get the opportunity to perform as part of ‘The Likes of Us’, written by Sir Tim Rice, Trinity Theatre’s first major musical in many years.
Dinah Bowman, President of CAODS, said:
“It is wonderful that our Youth Theatre is restarting. We have had lots of enquiries to join, as the children do so enjoy being involved and they love all that theatre gives them.
"There are two exciting productions in the pipeline for our young people so we hope that many of our Island children will be joining our Youth Theatre for some fun times.”
