A festive community celebration is set to bring the spirit of Christmas to life as Godshill Matters, a new local residents’ group, teams up with local businesses, Godshill Primary school, Godshill Scouts, the Parish Council and All Saints Church to host the first-ever Godshill Christmas Cracker.
This spectacular event takes place on Saturday December 7, from 10am to 8pm.
The event will transform the village into a hub of festive cheer and community togetherness.
Chris Slann, Chair of Godshill Matters, said:
"We are thrilled to see the entire village coming together for this event.
"Every group has brought their own special gifts to the cracker, making it a truly collaborative celebration."
The day promises something for everyone, from bustling Christmas markets to live performances and creative workshops.

Nathan Stubbings in Concert:
- Methodist Church: 3:30pm–4:30pm
Lantern Parade with Church Bells:
- Leaves Godshill School: 6pm–6:45pm
Carols Around the Tree:
- Old Smithy Car Park: 6:45pm–7:15pm
This event aims to not only celebrates the festive season but also demonstrate the power of community collaboration.
