Hovertravel Achieves Highest Level Of Government Accessibility Accreditation Again

Hovertravel has been awarded ‘Leader’ level in the Government’s Inclusive Transport Leaders Scheme in the latest round of accreditation.

The Leader level is the top level of accreditation in the scheme, with Hovertravel having been recognised at this level when the scheme launched in 2020 and now achieving this top status again.

Neil Chapman, managing director of Hovertravel, explains:

“Hovertravel can demonstrate that it has held the highest level of accreditation since November 2020 and this is a testament to the team at Hovertravel who have driven our HoverCare initiative to achieve such high standards.

"We want everyone to enjoy the fun of a hovercraft flight and our programme of engagement both internally and externally powers our ongoing development and shares best practices across our industry and our region.”

Hovertravel’s accessibility initiative launched in 2016 and has been recognised by several award schemes.
