Age UK Isle of Wight has announced the launch of its 2024 Christmas Raffle, offering participants a chance to win incredible prizes, including up to £25,000 or a brand new car.

The raffle is co-ordinated by Age UK nationally, however this year, 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales will be retained by Age UK Isle of Wight when purchased directly with the local charity partners, ensuring that every purchase benefits local programs and service.

In addition to the grand prizes, the raffle features a variety of cash prizes, offering participants multiple chances to win.

Other prizes include sums of £5,000, £2,500, £2,000, £1,500, £1,000, £300, £150, £100, and £50.

Each raffle ticket book contains six individual tickets, priced at just £1 per ticket.

Raffle ticket stubs must be received by the week commencing November 25 to allow for transit time before the draw.

The draw will take place on 13th December 2024, with Age UK National managing the draw and directly contacting the winners.

Maria Bunce, Chief Officer at Age UK Isle of Wight:

“We are thrilled to launch our Christmas Raffle this year, which not only provides exciting prizes but also helps Age UK Isle of Wight continue our important work in the community”.

“By participating, you are making a meaningful contribution to the charity that will be used to support the work we do to improve the lives of older people on the Isle of Wight.

"We are incredibly grateful for any funds generated by the raffle.”

To participate in the Christmas Raffle, individuals can request raffle booklets by emailing [email protected] or by visiting the Age UK Isle of Wight’s office located at 17 St Thomas Square, Newport.
