Isle Of Wight Open Studios Returns With New Spring Dates For 2025

Isle of Wight Open Studios continues to grow as a cornerstone of the Isle of Wight’s cultural calendar and following the success of this year’s much-loved IW Open Studios - which saw over 120 artists participating – along with artists valuable feedback, new dates and a bold vision are being set for 2025.

From 16-26 May 2025, this vibrant 10-day celebration of art will once again open doors across the Island, inviting both residents and visitors to explore the unique creative worlds of local artisans.

Area Reps will once again support artists across all four key areas of the Island, to strengthen community ties among participants and provide a more cohesive experience for visitors as they journey through the Island’s diverse art landscape.

Adding to developments, IW Open Studios has worked on an improved digital experience; where artists can register online, share their events, and showcase their art year-round.

This digital space serves as a lively, accessible hub for creatives to connect with audiences both on and off the Island.

Plans also include an island-wide printed IW Open Studios Brochure featuring all artists taking part, as well as a showcase exhibition at Quay Arts’ West Gallery in April-May 2025.

Georgia Newman, Director of Isle of Wight Open Studios CIC, is excited about next year’s event:

“Our vision for IW Open Studios is to expand its reach and deepen its impact. We’re nurturing an arts scene that appeals to both experienced art lovers and those new to the arts.

"As a self-funded Community Interest Company, we’re delighted to have the support of Creative Island again for 2025.”

As preparations build for the 2025 event, artists are invited to register via the IW Open Studios website – before the end of December deadline - and follow IW Open Studios on Facebook and Instagram for the latest updates, artist profiles, and inspiration.

These platforms will serve as a hub for everything artists and visitors need to make the most of the 2025 programme.
