A sailor from Wootton has been nominated for a national sports award.
Arthur Farley is one of four nominees for the February Athletes’ Athlete of the Month award.
The quartet were revealed after several major competitions for British sport over the last few weeks.
Arthur, 20, has battled a rare form of leukaemia to compete among the elite in his sport.

Arthur said:
"Being nominated for athlete of the month is a rare privilege and I want to thank my fellow athletes who nominated me and my sponsors whose support during a difficult year was invaluable
“We now await the final decision of my peers with fingers crossed!”
In an athlete-decided award that celebrates both sporting success and personal accomplishments, the four nominees will be voted on by their peers after enjoying a month to remember.
The shortlist comprises Arthur, Grace Reid (diving), Laura Stephens (swimming) and Marcus Wyatt (skeleton).
The winner will be announced shortly by the Association.
