Isle Of Wight Youth Trust Mental Health Census Open For 8-25 Year Olds

The Isle of Wight youth mental health Census 2025 is up and running , a crucial initiative to better understand and improve the mental health services young people need across the Island.

There are two different surveys for different age ranges, and both should take no longer than 10 minutes.

This short, anonymous survey will provide valuable insights into the challenges young Islanders face.

There is one for 8-11 year olds and one for 12-25 year olds. Young people completing the census can be entered into a draw for a £25 shopping voucher of their choice.

The surveys include signposting to the Youth trust and Kooth.com, which provides free anonymous support in case any of the questions make anyone feel sad or needing someone to talk to.

Paul Savill , Wellbeing lead at the charity said:

“We are really pleased to able to get the voices of children and young people heard again.

"We now have a number of years of data which is so useful to services and organisations on the Island who support or work with this generation who are so important to our community’s future”

The Census can be accessed via the QR code or link which is on posters in schools, and on the Youth Trust’s website.
