In a move to align with its new owners, the Cowes based car dealership formerly known simply as 'Esplanade' will now be known as Van Mossel Esplanade.
In Autumn of last year Van Mossel purchased its first UK businesses which included Esplanade and its sister sites in Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man.
Already an automotive giant in Europe, Van Mossel has been in business for 75 years and has a total of 452 branches, spanning the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Luxembourg and the UK with a work force of 6,600 employees.
"We are thrilled to unveil our new identity as Van Mossel Esplanade," said Brendan Cole, Head of Business at Van Mossel Esplanade.
"This new name represents our dedication to providing the best automotive experience for our customers while also reflecting the strong values that have always defined our dealership."
The familiar faces that have made Esplanade a trusted name on the Isle of Wight will remain at the very heart of the Van Mossel Esplanade team.
Alongside their new name, Van Mossel Esplanade has introduced two new state-of-the-art showrooms dedicated to the latest brands in its line-up: Škoda, CUPRA and SEAT.
As a pan-brand dealership Van Mossel Esplanade is the only approved repairer and retailer of new and used cars on the Isle of Wight for CUPRA, Mercedes-Benz, SEAT, Škoda, smart, Volkswagen and Volvo.
Other services available at the dealership include genuine car parts, EV specialists, MOT Test Centre and Motability specialists.
To mark their new name Van Mossel Esplanade are inviting Islanders to come along and look around the new showrooms.
Visitors will be able to take advantage of a number of very special celebratory introduction offers on many new and used cars, available until the end of June.
