The latest Newport & Carisbrooke Heritage Society (NCHS) exhibition showcases local businesses that have been trading for more than 30 years.
With contributions from Hursts, Farnsworths, While U Wait Services, TM Taylor and many more, the exhibition looks to celebrate their achievements.
The exhibition contains items and pictures loaned for display, including footage of the Hursts foundry and the beloved shoemaking animatronic ‘Cecil’ from While U Wait Services.
NCHS Chair Ashley Webb said:
"We would like to thank the participating businesses for loaning us items from their past.
"We encourage people to visit the exhibition and show support to these businesses which make up Newport’s rich history.”
The free exhibition can be seen at the Newport & Carisbrooke Community Council office at 64 High Street during office hours, Mon-Fri until April.
