Orchard House Care Home Celebrates D-Day 80

Orchard House Care Home recently commemorated the 80th anniversary of D-Day with a special celebration.

Guest singer, Paulo, provided delightful entertainment, and the residents joined in, singing along and thoroughly enjoying the event.

The celebration honoured the bravery and sacrifices of those who served during World War II, bringing back memories and fostering a sense of community among the residents.

The event featured a variety of activities, including historical presentations and themed decorations, which created an immersive and educational experience for everyone involved.

The residents were deeply moved by the tribute, and their participation made the day even more special.

It was a memorable day filled with music, camaraderie and reflection, highlighting the importance of remembering and honouring our history.
