Newport's Orchard House Care Home announced its joyous step into Christmas with a range of enchanting festivities that brought warmth and cheer to residents and staff alike.
On December 1, the home officially welcomed the holiday season with the illumination of Christmas lights, carols and a range of festive fare.
The magical event saw Santa Claus making a special appearance, collecting letters from residents, and joining in the communal singing of Christmas carols.
A highlight of the celebration was the heartening interaction between the children and Santa Claus.
With laughter and excitement filling the air, the youngsters enjoyed conversations with Santa and eagerly unwrapped their presents.
As part of the ongoing festivities, Orchard House is continuing the 'Find the Elf' game.
Residents and visitors are invited to join the search for the elusive elf and will stand a chance to win a ticket for the December 22 grand prize draw.
