Newport's Orchard House celebrated a special ‘Cuddle Day’ on Friday (August 9), with the event bringing smiles and warmth to our residents.
The star of the day - ‘Cuddle Monster’ - brought joy to care home residents with a custom-made coat crafted on the Island.
A spokesperson for Orchard House said:
"This unique coat has made our ‘Cuddle Monster’ even more huggable, and the residents can’t get enough of it!
"This wonderful initiative not only brightens our community but also has the potential to spread kindness and warmth across the Island’s care homes.
"In light of this, we’re extending an invitation to other care homes on the Island: if you’d like to borrow the special ‘Cuddle Monster’ coat and bring a similar experience to your residents, please don’t hesitate to contact us at Orchard House Reception.
"We believe this is a fantastic way to share joy and comfort with more people and create a lasting, positive impact across our community. Let’s start a wave of kindness together!"
