A holiday activities scheme hosted by Quay Arts has been hailed a vibrant initiative supported by the Isle of Wight Council, themed 'New Year, New You'.
The programme invited local children to participate in engaging, high-quality creative activities within the theatre.
Highlights of the activities included:
- A workshop by Wonderfell Theatre, guiding children through an imaginative journey that explored emotions, feelings, and hopes for the future.
- Circus Skills with Kai Davies, allowing participants to learn fun and challenging new circus talents.
- Pottery Mask Making with Isle of Wight Pottery, where children crafted unique creations to express their individuality.
- The scheme ended with a fun New Year’s party, complete with traditional games.
Quay Arts has also launched a Crowdfunder to aid restoration of the venue — vital for sustaining the centre’s ability to host impactful projects.
