A new regular event aims to help 16-30 year olds meet new people, make connections and start collaborating.

Future Works will feature exciting guests from all areas of the creative industries, brought to you by Brave Island, Platform One and IW Creative Network.

Each free event — which will take place at Strings Venue in Newport — will feature industry professionals discussing different topics around starting your creative career.

The bar will also be open with a DJ providing a soundtrack for the event.

The inaugural instalment takes place on Thursday February 15, with doors opening at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

February Guest Speakers

At the first event guests will hear from sustainable fashion designer Rosie Drake-Knight, filmmaker and photographer Reuben Mowle, and graphic designer and illustrator Michelle Lott.
