Sandown Community Celebrates New Belgian Chocolate Shop

Sandown High Street has welcomed the arrival of a new, innovative and sweet enterprise.

Sandown Mayor, Alex Lightfoot, joined with local community members to open Fran Pauwel's "Everything Chocolate - Fran's Belgian Collections".

Fran said:

"I first came to Sandown 30 years ago, and very much want to be a part of the Town's regeneration, and I'd like to thank all those that have given their time and upcycled the decorations in the shop."

Opening daily from 8am to 5pm, closed on Sundays, the shop offers a range of unique Chocolate creations, from waffles to cakes, individually crafted sweets to a range of drinks, with the promise of creative workshops in the Autumn.

Town Mayor Alex Lightfoot added:

"Fran's Belgian Creations is a welcome and innovative addition to the High Street, I wish her all the success and am sure that she will have the support of the Town."

Fran concluded:

"We have worked tirelessly for 6 weeks, with the help of friends and family, to ensure we can be open for the Summer Season."
