The Isle of Wight Round Table have been spreading Christmas cheer to thousands of people again this year.
For the fourth year in a row, Father Christmas has been chauffeured around various Island towns, in his bid to bring smiles and excitement to people in the run up to the big day.
In doing so, the Isle of Wight Round Table have raised in excess of £4,000 so far this year with more still to come.
The final amount will be shared between three charities: the IW Brainy Bunch, Carers IW, and the Alzheimer’s Cafè at Parklands.
James Metcalfe, Round Tables lead organiser for this year’s Sleigh event, said:
“We’ve been blown away with this years event but there is still time to donate, so please head to our Facebook page and click on one of the donation links.”
Mike Grist, Chairman of Isle of Wight Round Table, added:
“The organising committee would like to thank all of the main sponsors, our friends at Ryde Round Table and the adults and children who walked with us and collected money on our behalf.
"We'd also like to (thank) every person who put money in our buckets to pass on to these wonderful charities.”
