Teresa Hope, the Registered Manager at Highfield House in Shanklin, has been named Registered Manager of the Year for the South East at the prestigious Great British Care Awards.
Teresa’s win was announced at a ceremony at the Brighton Metropole, where she stood out among 11 other finalists for her exceptional leadership and dedication to providing person-centred care.
Next, she heads to the National Finals in Birmingham this March, where she’ll compete with the best in the UK for the national title.
“We couldn’t be prouder of Teresa,” said Ian Bennett, Managing Director of Island Healthcare.
“This award is a testament to her hard work and the compassionate environment she fosters at Highfield House.
"It’s an incredible achievement.”
Highfield House is part of the Island Healthcare, which operates six care homes across the Isle of Wight.
