Summer Activities On The Horizon At East Cowes Based Mad-Aid Dot

The MAD-Aid DOT in East Cowes is the place to head for some inexpensive summer fun for all the family.

Situated at 11 York Avenue, East Cowes, the MAD-Aid DOT community room is holding two games days during the school holidays.

The first is on Saturday July 27 – which is the start of the school holidays for many — and the second is Saturday August 17.

Admission to both MAD Games Day events is free and there will be a wide range of retro video games, board games and card games provided to play with – or you can bring your own!

The doors are open from 10am to 2pm for both MAD Games Day events and there will be hot and cold drinks, cakes and snacks for sale at both events, with proceeds to registered charity MAD-Aid.

Also at the MAD-Aid DOT is the Big Summer Sale on Saturday August 10 – again the doors are open 10am to 2pm and admission is free.

Visitors to the Big Summer Sale will find a wide range of inexpensive boredom busters for sale, including books for all ages, jigsaws, indoor and outdoor toys, beach goods, DVDs, summer clothing, kids’ craft items and much more.

There will also be refreshments on sale and proceeds go to MAD-Aid.

Finally, there are plans to hold a writing workshop for all ages on Saturday August 31 – more details will be announced soon.
