Is there anything more Christmassy than gathering around the town square Christmas tree with friends, warming your hands on a glass of mulled wine as the choir sings carols?
At 6pm next Monday (December 23) you can do just that as Cowes Town Centre comes alive with the sights, smells and sounds of Christmas.
Gathered around the Christmas tree at the bottom of Market Hill (in front of Rosalie's), the wonderful Medina Community Choir will be singing a selection of your favourite carols and other seasonal tunes, whilst surrounding shops will be open with some of them offering a selection of seasonal drinks and nibbles.
This is the third such event organised by Medina Bookshop, previous years have seen a friendly gathering of people all bewitched by the magical atmosphere and savouring the sense of community and Christmas spirit.
Everyone is welcome to come and join in the fun, be sure to wrap up warm.
