Tributes Paid To Popular Islander Tom, 32, Following Passing

Tributes have come flooding in for a popular member of the Isle of Wight community who has died at the age of 32.

Tom Dreyer, who was a long time customer at Way Forward Programme, has sadly passed away following a long-term battle with cancer.

He was a massive Southampton Football Club fan, with the club arranging a round of applause at the home match against Sheffield Wednesday this Saturday.

Tom — described as a larger than life character with a heart of gold — was renowned for always going out of his way to help others.

He starred as the Panto Dame in a number of the group's shows.

Tom, who lived in Newport was sadly lost his brave battle with cancer on Saturday (January 6).

A spokesperson for The Way Forward said:

"Tom was a star who always went out of his way to help others and never had a bad word to say.

"He will be missed by so many and we will never forget him.

"Rest easy now Tommo."
