Isle of Wight based WRS Systems has been named a finalist in the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards.
The national awards celebrate companies across all industries, championing sustainability, diversity, equality and those that have exceeded expectations throughout the year.
WRS — which has more than 70 staff at its Newport head office — has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Customer Loyalty and Family Business of the Year categories.
Founded in 2003 and run by David, Chris and Sophie Jackson, WRS is the preferred UK EPOS supplier for Costa Coffee, Cornish Bakery, Thunderbird Chicken, itsu and Dunkin’, along with many others on the Isle of Wight.
WRS Systems Chief Operating Officer, Sophie Jackson, said:
“We are thrilled to be named as a finalist in two categories.
“It is testament to our fantastic team and the clients we work with.
"This recognition is a huge achievement for the company, and reflects the innovation, dedication, and commitment WRS Systems brings to the retail and hospitality sectors.”
Elyn Corfield CEO, Business and Commercial Banking, Lloyds Banking Group, stated:
“It’s important we celebrate business success stories and the role this talent and ambition is playing in driving our economy.”
The awards take place in London in November.
