Pop in for an afternoon of friendly chat, enjoy a drink and slice of cake - and learn something new at the same time!
This month we are hoping to welcome a member of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust (HIWWT), who will be talking about Wilder Wight and its aim to encourage more wildlife into our local environment.
Even if you don't have much outdoor space at home, the HIWWT team can explain more about how you can grow a few pollinators in a window box, or build a bug hotel. The HIWWT representative will also have a few ideas about how we can encourage nature around the MAD-Aid DOT (and we really don't have much outside space!)
Everyone is welcome at Coffee & Cake and you can drop in any time. Admission is free. The ground-floor MAD-Aid DOT community room is fully accessible and dog and child-friendly.
There will be inexpensive hot and cold drinks on sale, as well as a variety of cakes - including some which have been home-baked by our lovely volunteers. All proceeds go to registered charity MAD-Aid, which does vital work in both the UK and internationally.
