Are you a budding writer or illustrator, who is looking for some friendly advice and inspiration - if so, read on!
Admission is FREE, the venue is fully accessible, and everyone is welcome regardless of age and ability (although children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult).
The group host is Kate, who has a degree in writing and publishing, and an HND in journalism. She is an experienced journalist, editor and writer of poetry, short stories and flash fiction. She has had many poems and stories published, including a 10,000-word novella and a travel memoir.
Simply pop in any time between 5.30pm and 7.30pm to browse the large library of resources, have a go at fun writing exercises, chat to Kate about all things writing or sit quietly and concentrate on your own project.
There are hot and cold drinks on sale, as well as notebooks, plus the second-hand bookstall, and all proceeds go to registered charity MAD-Aid.
